  • Where are you based?
    We're based in South East London.
  • Where do you deliver?
    Deliveries tend to be within 100 miles of London, although we're always up for an adventure. If you're further afield, drop us a line and we'll try to work something out.
  • Can we collect?
    The majority of our props are larger than life and need a helping hand to set up. That's why for private events we insist on our delivery team looking after it all for you. For anything corporate, drop us a line. If the vehicle is suitable and you have a team prepped for install, then let's look at it together and make a call.
  • Do you have Public Liability Insurance?
    Yes we do - 10 million pounds' worth, so we're covered!
  • Do you set the props up?
    We do! A few of our props are available for dry hire only, but those that need a helping hand to get set up, we'll take care of for you. Please note; our Heart Disco Ball requires a specialist technical or rigging company for installation. If you don't have one, we can recommend some trusted suppliers for you.
  • What does 'dry hire' mean?
    'Dry hire' means we deliver and collect our props from you in their cases. It's up to you to set them up and pack them away. A selection of our props are available for dry hire. If you want a dry hire item, but would still like us to set them up for you, that's not a problem. Just let us know and we'll take it from there.
  • When can you deliver / set up / collect?
    We like to be as accommodating as possible. You let us know the place, the date, and your preferred timings, and we'll make the magic happen.
  • How long is the hire period?
    Standard hire is 1-3 days, although if you need them for longer, just shout (and pay a little more).
  • Can you tell me about the damage deposit?
    A fully refundable damage deposit is charged for every order. The amount is usually a % of the order. This is refunded within 7 days of returning our prop to us in the same state we sent it to you - looking fabulous. We like to run on mutual trust and respect with you. We love our business and our props. Please treat them with the love and care they deserve! You can find more info on this in our T&Cs.
  • How do I confirm, and what are your payment terms?"
    We require 100% payment in advance to confirm your booking, alongside the damage deposit. In the case of a cancellation, you can find our terms in our T&Cs.

It's all flightcased and looking smart before it's even unwrapped on site! The founder of My Colour Is Gold, Aisha, has over 15 years' experience in the fast-paced live events world, specialising in all things production. Having industry knowledge of what's possible, which materials are available and how EXTRA you can be when pulling a design together - makes for some pretty cool props. With an expert understanding of what it takes to produce and execute an incredible event - from destination weddings and luxury brand product launches to Warner Music's after-parties for the Brits and Grammys, there's nothing she hasn't seen.
